It has been over a week now that the fires have been burning here. We still have smoke filled air and ash everywhere. We are the lucky ones though. The fires that are close are far enough away that we are safe. Although at times I though we might have to evacuate. I long for blue skies and fresh air. My kids are dying to go outside and play. We have been crafting away and playing dress-up. Now we are onto a play-doh marathon. God help me! I feel so sorry for everyone that has lost their houses. I just can't imagine. These are some pics I snapped from around our home.

man how scary. i am glad you and your family are ok.
i remember those days of playdough. my kids loved that stuff. i would even make homemade color and all playdough. it was so easy and alot cheaper. lol
have fun and i hope you can get outside soon.
I can't even imagine how frightening that is. I'm so glad that you all are okay.
I also can't imagine how exhausted you must be having to entertain all day. That would wear me out! And Play-doh? You are so much nicer than me. I hate play-doh. It is restricted to outside and really, preferably to school!
Hope all is well now for you..... sorry I am late had my freind here for 3 weeks it was fun
